ULS provide free regular lighting maintenance visits to commercial, industrial and retail sectors throughout England & Wales. We service properties from office, business centres, shopping centres, retail outlets, medical practices, leisure centres and public buildings. Our lighting maintenance is a labour free service. Fully qualified electrical engineers visit sites on regular free programmed visits. The frequency of lighting maintenance visits is dependant on the particular system of each site as well as our client's requirements. This usually ranges in frequency from an onsite engineer to weekly, monthly or quarterly visits. We only charge for failed lamps/tubes replaced. If there are no lamps that need replacing there is no charge. We do not charge an attendance fee. Access equipment is supplied free of charge.

Free Lamp Recycling Service

New EU Legislation means that certain wastes are catergorised as hazardous under the European waste catalogue. Lamps and tubes are considered to be Hazardous therefore these items must be recycled. The WEEE Directive (waste electrical and electronic equipment) makes it a legal requirement to recycle lamps, tubes and electronic/electrical equipment. As part of our lighting maintenance service and our environment policy ULS offer a free lamp recycling service. Any lamps/tubes or electrical equipment removed from client's sites are safely disposed and recycled free of charge with documentation & certification provided on a report or on request.
